EVENT 5

For time, three team members complete:

600m Stretcher carry

600m Fireman’s carry

45 Worm Clean & Jerk

The stretchered/carried team member must complete:

45 Lateral worm burpees

Tag, the remaining three team members complete:

600m Stretcher carry

600m Fireman’s carry

21 Worm Clean & Jerk

15 Worm Clean & Jerk

9 Worm Clean & Jerk

On the sound of 3,2,1… Go! Three team members will complete a 600m stretcher carry. Of the three team members one will be on the stretcher and must remain on the stretcher for the duration of the 600m. Once at the 600m Mark the stretcher will be placed on the ground and the team member being stretchered will now be Fireman’s carried 600m back to the start. Once the three return to the start they will then complete 45 Worm Clean & Jerk. Once complete, the team member who was being stretchered/carried must complete 45 Lateral Worm Burpees. The remaining three team members will then complete a 600m Fireman’s carry , followed by a 600m Stretcher carry. Followed by, 21 Worm Clean & Jerks, 15 Worm Clean & Jerks, 9 Worm Clean & Jerks.

Notes:

  1. At all times all team members must be within their marked lane.

  2. This Event will be scored by time. Each repetition not completed one second will be added.

  3. The team member stretchered for the first section must remain the same person who also completes the lateral Worm Burpees. The team member stretchered/carried during the second section my change as the team chooses but must be one of the second three completing the second section.

SCALED:

Worm Clean & Jerk repetitions will for the first section: 30.

Worm Clean & Jerk repetitions will for the first section: 15 - 12 - 9.


MOVEMENT STANDARDS

Worm Clean & Jerk:

The worm will start on the ground and be cleaned then jerked to the shoulder on the opposing side to that which it started. At the shoulder once the jerk is completed the team must show control (by pausing) before either dropping the worm or moving immediately into the next repetition. Touch and go repetitions are permitted provided the previous requirement is met. This is completed as a two part movement.
