EVENT 7

For time:

127 Wallballs

(4min cap)

Followed immediately by, for time:

75 Power Snatch

(4min cap)

*This event complete has a 9min cap and is considered one event.

On the sound of 3,2,1… Go! Male competitors will begin on the Wall balls while female competitors begin on the Power Snatch. At the four minute mark competitors will be given time and the competitors will then have one minute to move to where they will complete the second part of the workout. On 3,2,1… Go! the males will then begin their Power snatch and the females will begin on the Wall balls. At the end of the second four minute block competitors will be given time.

Notes:

  1. This Event will be scored by time. Each repetition not completed one second will be added.

INTERMEDIATE, TEENS(ALL), MASTERS(ALL):

Wall ball @9/6 to 10/9ft

Power Snatch @35/25kg

SCALED:

Wall ball @6/3 to 10/9ft

Power Snatch @35/25kg.


MOVEMENT STANDARDS

Wall balls:

The Wall ball starts on the ground. The movement starts from the bottom of a squat, hip crease below the knee, and thrown to hit the specified target/height. Men will throw to a 10′ target and Woman to a 9′ target.

Power Snatch:

The Barbell is to be moved from the ground to locked out over head so that the feet, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows and hands are in line and locked out. The competitor may Muscle Snatch, Power Snatch or Squat Snatch the bar. The bar must be in constant motion from the ground until locked out. Single reps maybe performed but the bar must be completely stationary before continuing the next rep. Bouncing the bar is not allowed.
