EVENT 6

6 Rounds for time:

6 Deadlift

9 Bar Facing Burpees

(6min cap)

On the sound of 3,2,1… Go! Competitors will run to their Barbell and begin their Deadlift. Once complete they will complete 9 Bar facing burpees. Once complete they will roll their Barbell forward to the next designated area. They will then continue with the next round. They will continue in this fashion until 6 rounds are complete. At the completion of 6 rounds they will run to the finish (the competitor is not required to roll their bar forward on the 6th round)

Notes:

  1. This Event will be scored by time. Each repetition not completed under the time cap will add one second.

RX:

Deadlift @143/101kg.


MOVEMENT STANDARDS

Deadlift:

The competitor starts standing behind the Barbell. They lift the Barbell until the hips, knees and shoulders are in line. The competitor may use a pronated or alternate grip.
 However, their hands must be outside the feet, i.e. Sumo Deadlifts are NOT allowed. The competitor may perform single reps but the Barbell must be completely stationary before continuing with the next repetition. Bouncing at any time is NOT allowed.

Bar facing Burpee:

The competitor starts standing behind the Barbell. They lower themselves to the floor until their chest and thighs make contact with the floor. They then stand up and jump the bar with a double foot jump, and landing. Single leg jumps are not allowed. Each Burpee must be performed perpendicular to and facing the Barbell. The competitors head cannot be over the barbell. They may use any method to lower themselves to the ground.
